Academic Programs

Formerly the College of Public Health, the College of Public Health and Health Sciences brings together complementary disciplines to enhance interdisciplinary learning and innovation. Public health remains a central focus, with degree programs designed to prepare students for in-demand careers improving community health and well-being. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 17% growth in community and social service occupations—including many public health careers—from 2022 to 2032.

Undergraduate Degrees

Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH)

For students just beginning their careers we offer the Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) in six concentration areas. We also offer an 18-credit hour certificate and a minor in Public Health for non-public health majors. Public Health program courses are available both and on-campus. Available concentrations are:

3+3 Law Degree Pathway BSPH/JD

The College of Public Health also offers a 3+3 Accelerated Law Degree Pathway. Students complete their Public Health coursework at 91¸£Àû, then begin law school in their fourth year. 91¸£Àû has partnered with five Ohio law schools to create an accelerated pathway to a law degree.

Advanced Degrees

Master of Public Health

For students who have completed their undergraduate degree and want to advance their career we offer the Master of Public Health (MPH) in four specializations:

The STEM-designated Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology, also offered in hybrid and fully formats, prepares students for careers in clinical research in hospitals, research institutes, pharmaceutical companies, or medical device companies.

Dual Degrees

Diversify your professional credentials with a dual degree by pursuing two master's degrees simultaneously. The College of Public Health, in collaboration with other 91¸£Àû colleges, offers a variety of dual degree programs:
