KBAI Lecture Series
As part of the Kent Blossom Art Intensives every year, visiting artists give public presentations on their work. All artist lectures are free and open to the public.
Presentations take place at 5 p.m. in the Center for the Visual Arts (325 Terrace Dr.), Room 165, unless otherwise noted below.
Parking: Free parking is available for these events only behind the Center for the Visual Arts (325 Terrace Drive) in the R19 lot and in the adjacent R2 lot by the Business Administration Building (475 Terrace Drive). The Visitor鈥檚 Lot by the Student Center is also available.

Joshua Kosker: Jewelry/Metals/Enameling

Joshua Kosker is a contemporary jeweler and visual artist living and working in western Michigan. Drawing from unexpected and often ephemeral materials, his work explores craft, materiality, and the body while challenging traditional hierarchies of value and permanence within jewelry and objects. Tyanna Buie: Print Media & Photography

Tyanna Buie, visiting artist for KBAI: Print Media & Photography, will present a lecture as part of the Kent Blossom Art Intensives. The course focuses on photo- and transfer-based print techniques, including photo intaglio, CMYK, photo lithography, toner transfer, solar plates and screen printing resists.
