Fall 2014 President's & Dean's Lists Recipients Recognized

91�� at Ashtabula's best and brightest were recognized Wednesday night, February 11, at the President's & Dean's List Reception held in the Blue & Gold Room in Main Hall.

The biannual "Celebration of Academic Excellence" lauded nearly 180 students for their performance during the Fall 2014 semester. Each attending student received a certificate from Dean Susan Stocker commemorating their academic achievement.

Assistant Professor Emeritus Irene Edge and 2014 graduate Rachel Edge delivered the celebratory remarks.

From Networking Computers to Connecting a Community: How 91�� Ashtabula Helped David Jones '22 Find an Unexpected Calling

When David Jones graduated from 91�� at Ashtabula in December 2022 with a degree in information technology and computer networking, his career plans were straightforward. He expected to work in IT building systems, managing networks and solving technical problems behind the scenes.

But just weeks later, he applied for a position that most outside observers would have predicted: executive director of the Conneaut Arts Center.
