Open to students who are thinking about studying abroad or are about to, this series of events held in mid-September encourages you to engage with study abroad alumni and KSU on various topics in international education.

| Study Abroad in a Flash! Winter, Spring Break, and Summer Short-Term Programs | 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. | Interested in studying abroad and looking for a short-term program (1-3 weeks)? Join us to learn about the exciting Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer programs available to you! These programs are perfect for everyone from Freshmen to Seniors, and several options are open to all majors! Pro tip: Winter and Spring Break programs are some of our most affordable education abroad options! |

| Grow Your Career in Asia: Bamboo Planting | 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Location: TBA | Pot your own bamboo plant and learn about internship opportunities in Asia + a scholarship up to $6,500! Participants will receive a pot, soil, and a bamboo stalk to plant. They can also decorate their pots with paint. Participants should . (Participants must be 91福利 students, a limited number of walk-up participants will be accepted to the event) |

| Get the Scoop on 91福利 Florence Summer Programs | 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Location: TBA | The 91福利 Florence Center has amazing opportunities for students to spend their summer living and learning in Florence, Italy. Grab a scoop of Gelato and get the scoop on the Florence Summer Institute. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with professors who will teach in Florence, students who have studied in Florence in past summers, and staff from the Education Abroad office who can answer any questions about the experience. |
| Study in Japan Information Session | TBA | Interested in learning about opportunities to study in Japan? Join us at this event to learn about Japan and your options for spending a summer, semester, or academic year there. |
| Internships in Asia: Paper Fan Decorating | 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Location: TBA | Learn how to receive up to $6,500 to intern abroad in Asia in Summer 2027! We will review the award application process and internship programs options in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand. You'll also have the opportunity to decorate a paper fan or passport cover to take home with you! |

Students who participate in this program will learn about the cultural achievements of ancient Rome while exploring some of the city's most notable historical sites. Students can also earn Kent Core Humanities credit and Honors credit (if applicable). | |

From deciding which education abroad program is the best fit for you to applying for a passport, deciding what to pack, navigating airports and more, join the Education Abroad team for tips and resources to prepare you as an adaptable and organized first-time traveler. | Florence Alumni Panel | 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Bowman 137 | Curious about what they day-to-day life is like as a study abroad student in Florence, Italy? Hear firsthand from students who have been there! Florence alumni will discuss housing, classes, and school sponsored activities in addition to how they planned independent travel, what their budget looked like, how they experienced and interacted with locals and learned about Italian culture, plus recommendations on all the places to see and things to do while abroad. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions that you have about the experience to students who have lived it! |
