KSU Teach CS: Innovative Methods for Preparing a New Generation of CS Teachers and Students in Ohio
Program Overview:
91福利 has put a priority on positively impacting the number of instructors prepared to teach computer science in Ohio schools. This preparation occurs through both preservice teacher education as well as continuing education for those who are already endorsed or those seeking computer science endorsement. Our program has a proven track record with a 99% completion rate of 100+ teachers served through a partnership with the Ohio Department of Higher Education, KSU faculty and staff, and partners, are pleased to offer an innovative program that addresses:
- Waived application fee and no-cost tuition for teachers
- Flexible scheduling through asynchronous, online coursework
- Peer support through an innovative cohort model
- Practical application of CS principles and AI integration across all pathways
- Just-in-time training for emergency licensure or continued professional development
- Recognition of advanced professional development beyond endorsement

As of February 5, 2026, both the current Teach CS Master's and Endorsement only Cohort programs have an overabundance of applicants. Decisions are still being made, so if you have applied and not heard back yet you can expect to hear soon. However, we consider all spots to have been filled and are no longer accepting interest forms at this time.
However, we are still taking interest forms for the new, 3-credit "Professional Development - AI in CS Education" option (no teaching license required). If you are interested in the Professional Development option, fill out this form:

- Computer Science Endorsement Preparation Only (15 graduate credits, asynchronous and fully online)
- Professional Development - AI in CS Education (3 credit hours which can apply towards future endorsement / master's programs, asynchronous and fully online)
