Students in 91����'s Kigali Summer Institute visited the Lycee Saint Marcel de Rukara reconciliation village in Rwanda to learn about the path to forgiveness after the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, when more than 1 million members of the Tutsi tribe were murdered in a 100-day span by the government-backed Hutu tribe. School of Fashion Senior Lecturer, Professor Trista L. Grieder has had the unique opportunity to design and produce a garment, the Jade Gown, inspired by Diana Dempsey’s novel, “The Unstoppable Eliza Haycraft.” Diana Dempsey wanted to create a stand-out visual element to promote the novel.
