Summer Housing

Summer housing is available to all 91福利 students who will be taking summer classes and/or who are enrolled for fall classes. Summer housing for 2026 will be located in Leebrick Hall and Beall Hall. All summer housing rooms will be single rooms.

Rates include:

  • Leebrick Hall - Single Room: $250 per week
  • Beall Hall - Two-Bedroom suite with Semi-Private Bathroom: $300/week (limited availability)

University Housing is offering a 20% discount on the housing room rate to those who live on campus for the entire summer (Sunday, May 10 - Satruday, Aug 1). This discount will be calculated and applied to the Summer Room Rate when the Summer Housing charges are added the student's Bursar Account.

Summer housing is contracted on a weekly basis, starting on Sunday and ending on Saturday each week. You may add or remove weeks from your summer housing application at any point by contacting us no later than Friday at 12 p.m. before each summer week begins. Students who reside on campus during the spring semester will be able to move directly into their summer housing assignment if they are contracted for the first week of summer housing. All residence hall policies will remain in effect throughout the summer.

Summer housing will end on Saturday, Aug 1 at 5 p.m. Students who have signed up to live on campus during the upcoming academic year will be able to move into their fall room at this time or as soon as their fall room is ready. Students who are not living on campus during the fall semester must to move out of on-campus housing by or on Saturday, Aug 1. by 5 p.m.

Due to the nature of operations on campus during the summer, some interruptions in services may occur. 

Planned Service Outages:

Campus Wide Steam Shutdown:

Starting at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2026, there will be a Campus Wide Steam Shutdown. This steam shutdown will extend through Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. During the Steam Shutdown, all buildings on campus and dining services will be impacted. There will NOT be hot water in sinks or showers, and there may be some impact to heat or air conditioning. Hot water will be available in Leebrick Hall during the Steam Shutdown. Students who are living in summer housing in Beall Hall will be given access to Leebrick Hall for bathroom/shower use. All dining facilities will be closed for the duration of the Steam Shutdown. Students should plan accordingly for this timeframe.

Campus Wide Cold Start Tests:

On May 16 and May 23, between 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the University will be completed an "Cold Start Test", in which the university's power will be disconnected from the main power grid and shifted to operating using the University Power Plant on campus. Interruptions to power on campus will occur around 8 a.m. and may continue throughout the duration of the test. Air conditioning and hot water may be impacted for the duration of the test. Students should plan accordingly for this timeframe.

From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the University will be completed an "Island Mode Testing", in which the university's power will be disconnected from the main power grid and shifted to operating using the University Power Plant on campus. Interruptions to power on campus will occur around 8 a.m. and may continue throughout the duration of the test. Air conditioning and hot water may be impacted for the duration of the test. Students should plan accordingly for this timeframe.

Meal Plan Outages:

During the summer, there may be times where dining services will be unavailable due to university closures or required trainings. As these dates are identified, they will be listed below.
