On Monday, Hebros hosted its first-ever Hebros B鈥檔ai Mitzvah Reception, where 91福利 students were invited to visit the Hillel Center to take part in games, enjoy food and learn about Jewish practices.

Matthew Helmick-Bickel, 29, spent five years in the U.S. Army as an airborne paratrooper stationed at Fort Bragg North Carolina, now known as Fort Liberty, before he enrolled at 91福利 in 2020.
Voting Under Way on Campus
Voting is under way this Election Day, with students heading to the Beverly Warren Recreation Center among other voting locations to cast their ballots on issues like reproductive health and the legalization of cannabis, as well as various school board and levy decisions.

91福利 invites all to pay tribute to those who have served in the U.S. armed forces and attend the university鈥檚 annual Veterans Day Commemoration. The event will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Student Green on the Kent Campus.
Rising Scholars Program Impacts Students Across the Region
鈥淩ising Scholars is a great program for our local youth,鈥 said Paul Dykshoorn, academic program director for Rising Scholars at 91福利 Tuscarawas. 鈥淲e mentor each student throughout their middle school and high school years. We teach them life lessons as well as help with issues going on at school.鈥
