Schedule a Visit

Students interested in studying visual communication design, photography or user experience design can select one of the prospective student visit options offered by the College of Communication and Information. These visits give students and parents the opportunity to learn about all we offer in a small-group setting.

 

Class Visits

Sit in on our engaging classes, interact with our talented instructors and get a firsthand look at how our students learn and create. You'll be able to participate in discussions, observe innovative projects and see the collaborative energy that drives our community.

Undergraduate Visits

School of Visual Communication Design Walk and Talk Tours

Discover how our programs prepare you to tackle real-world challenges and succeed in your future career. During this session, you will also gain insights into the industry, receive valuable advice and learn about the various career paths available. From cutting-edge technology in our labs to inspiring studio spaces, you'll see how we create an environment that supports hands-on learning.

Graduate Visits

If you're a future graduate student, please contact the graduate coordinator to schedule a visit.

Planning your visit

The tour with the school director lasts around one hour. You can join a tour and attend classes on the same day during your visit. You can participate in multiple classes for the entire day, half a day, or only for one session鈥攊t's up to you. When you arrive, park on R-3 (link below) and come to our main office on the second floor to collect your parking pass.
