91¸£Àû held the 49th commemoration of the historic events of May 4, 1970. The annual commemoration marks the fateful day when the Ohio National Guard shot and killed four students and wounded nine others on the Kent Campus.

A prominent political strategist, lawyer and advocate for positive change in the political process served as the keynote speaker at 91¸£Àû’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration. Angela Rye, principal and CEO of IMPACT Strategies, joined the university in celebrating the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 23 in the Kent Student Center Ballroom.

91¸£Àû’s Online MBA program is ranked among the top 100 programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report’s on its 2019 Best Online MBA Programs list.
91¸£Àû’s Online MBA program ranks 90th in the country and 66th among public institutions. This is the first year 91¸£Àû was eligible to be ranked since its program launched in fall 2017.

The Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and Museum has announced that Herb Page, 91¸£Àû’s director of golf and men’s golf head coach, has been selected for 2019 induction into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame.
With his induction, Coach Page becomes the 25th person inducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame’s builder category and first-ever coach.
